Clients who have won with DKA
Real companies, real awards.
“This is the cleanest GSA Schedule submission I have seen in over a year.”
DKA has been a trusted partner to DivIHN, supporting us with our GSA Schedule and SIN additions, OASIS+, and SEWP VI. Their team is knowledgeable, responsive, and easy to work with, and we have been successfully awarded every vehicle and addition they have supported us on.
DKA helped us navigate complex government systems with virtual ease.
Greene Respiratory Services has been using DKA as our Federal Government bidding partner since 2001 and we have truly enjoyed an excellent partnership in the process. We feel that without DKA, our efforts to obtain new federal government contracts would have been diminished greatly. The results have been excellent.
What sets them apart is that they know the process, and they explain it in plain language. They take the time to understand how each business is positioned, so the proposals actually reflect who we are, not a template. Thirty years in this field shows. Highly recommended.
DKA did not stop the support once the paperwork was submitted.
Working with the staff at DKA over the past 10+ years has been a real pleasure. They continue to guide us through the ever-changing processes, but one thing doesn’t change: their dedication & commitment to seeing the project through.

Common questions
Still unsure? Ask the DKA assistant in the corner, or book a free call.
What does DKA do?
DKA helps businesses win and manage government contracts through expert proposal writing, and helps companies get listed on and maintain the GSA Multiple Award Schedule. Since 1995 our clients have trusted us to identify, pursue, win and maintain contracts at the federal and state level.
Do I need a GSA Schedule to sell to the federal government?
No. Plenty of federal work is won through open solicitations without one, and DKA writes those proposals too. A Schedule is worth having when you want agencies to buy from you repeatedly without running a new competition each time.
How experienced is DKA?
DeSutter, Kerr & Associates was formed in August 1995. We have contributed to more than 350 contract awards worth over $1.7 billion combined, and secured more than 500 GSA Schedules for client companies.
What does it cost to get started?
The first conversation is a free, no-obligation consultation with an experienced consultant. Fee structures for the work itself vary by engagement and scope, and we discuss pricing transparently before any work begins.
What is a government contract vehicle?
A purchasing mechanism agencies use to buy products or services from a defined pool of contractors under established terms. Examples include GSA MAS, VA FSS, OASIS+, NASA SEWP and state schedules like TXMAS and CMAS. Many contractors hold more than one, because different agencies buy through different channels.
Does winning a contract vehicle guarantee government sales?
No. A vehicle creates access and eligibility, but you still need a sales and pursuit strategy, competitive positioning, compliant contract maintenance and, often, task order proposals.
Does DKA write the entire proposal?
DKA can develop the written response across every section the solicitation requires. Your participation still matters, because the strongest content has to accurately reflect your capabilities, experience, staffing and approach.
Can DKA help us form a team for a contract?
Yes. We can help identify capability gaps, evaluate complementary teammates, think through prime and subcontractor roles, and coordinate proposal responsibilities. If you don't hold the vehicle a contract runs through, teaming may still create a path to it.
We are new to government contracting. Is that a problem?
No. Many clients come to DKA having never held a federal contract. The first step is working out whether pursuing government business makes sense for your company, and if so, which opportunities and contract vehicles fit what you sell.
